I am a in my second year of college (this September), my primary focus is photography. I started studying photo while I was a senior in high school, which during that time I was focusing on graphic design/art. When I was in art history I focus all my papers (basically they were catalogs) around Dadaist “art”. I like to make collages; and Andy Warhol. I still live with my parents. I love all my friends dearly, and it may not be apparent but I do like to meet new people. I like collecting things like sunglasses, photos from flea markets, and anything unusual. I like to go to thrift shops, consignment shops, and anyplace where I can get my hands on secondhand goods. I like the smell of licorice, and lilies, and roses, and attics. I don't watch much television. I choose Carl Jung over Sigmund Freud. I like actual conversation, awkward silences and unusual situations, bathroom photography, vintage photo booths, knitting, sewing patterns, and drunken ranting. I find eastern philosophy interesting as well as their belief systems, I like traditional and modern (by that I mean the modernist era) interpretations of the I Ching, because it is all poetry. I like to bake vegan and non-vegan goodies and make food, especially for people. I also like to send/give gifts for some reason.



I like unique things, and things most people haven't probably heard of before. I like the artist Will Cotton, he paints nudes and cakes. I am a fan of the art from the northern Renaissance, Frida Kahlo, Minza Wada and the manga art of Maruo Suehiro. I like polka, vintage fabrics and fibers. I feel as if I'm intellectual, but I buckle under actual intellectuals. I like various types of art, and I like to read. I hate it when people believe that reading is a waste of time. I like fairy tales. I sew, knit, and I really like textiles. I like to make cloths or at least try. I like Regency clothing, turn of the century clothing, early ready-made clothing from the 30’s to the 50’s, traditional Japanese dress, and Mod. I am a suffering chronic hair dye addict. I like music too. It’s neat when Jungian psychology is applied to Tarot and other esoterically things.



I love legal pads, post-it notes, cameras, cats, bleach, sushi, finger sandwiches, peroxid, vomit, vinyl records, organic fifties' countertops, pizza pockets, cranberry juice and vodka, yellow caneries, fashion magazines, Akris, photography by Yelena Yemchuck, darkrooms chemicals, polaroids, unsusal tattoos, obnoxiously large sunglasses, dark olive green, vintage postcards, old photographs, art stores, import grocery stores, the color white, the color black, and freak snow storms.



I utterly dispise Uggs, tribal tattoos, being poor, country decor, mini-vans, shitty looking snow, heat, tans, scene bitches, chemical burns, trucker hats, Myspace photography, spilling bleach on myself, big hair, Carrot Top, and Unibrows.
