Yup.

So I went to a new hippie store in North Syracuse, since I think I'm won't be allowed at the hippie story on Westcott street. For various reason, on letting a lost dog into their store because I had to leave and didn't want to leave the dog because he kept going out into the street. I didn't want him to get hit.

Anyway, both stores have pretty much the same shit. I got some semi-precious gemstones.

Amazonite (from Russia): Is a good stone that represents creativity and shit. It's pretty teal-ish and white almost tiger stripe. I want to take it to a jewler and see if they could make a setting for it that I could ware as a necklace.

Serpentine: It's light lime-ish green and is really awesome. It help avoid snake bites and stuff. Not like there is a lot of snakes in suburbia but ya know, never know.

Black Tourmaline: It repeals negativity and jealously and shit.

I felt like I had to get something because I was there for an hour and if I had just left I would have been rude or something.

I'm watching the CSI where that kid Ryan Lasco like slept around and that girl and guy and they tie him up and like humiliate him. He ends up dead. That seems justified when a guy is a slease.

Yey!

So Tegan and Sara are like directly a state below me, and there's going to be a show the 31st. AH!
No way of getting there and no time to prepare sucks big time. However, they're going to be in New York at Webster Hall in November. So what's that mean? I'm totally going. A fun day of being in the city and then seeing Tegan and Sara, why yes it is.

I haven't bought my ticket to see Poison and Ratt yet, I have to.
I haven't done a lot of things though.
Ya know, like my hair (I have to buy a new tint brush since mines at Raychel's I think--Nice I don't talk to her anymore).
I will be sending her a card though, her birthday's this month.
I bought Elizabeth's Wurtzel's, Bitch yesterday at Barns & Nobel.
It was a hoot buying, there was this guy there who I wanted to ring me up. However, the stupid bitch at the register next to him couldn't make change so the woman in front of me got to him before I could.
In my implosive haste I knot some books of a table. Yeah embarrassing.

Bleh, I took a nap but I feel tired.

Yup, I felt like showing off my new shirt and boots so I went to the mall. It was all right. I got a comment about my boot in Borders. I also made some eye-contact with this guy who fucken vanished. Too bad. So I bought a book of hairstyles from history and like the world. Depression buying is the best.

I'll post pictures of my book and my boots and stuff.

Happy Tuesday.

So I got August Vogue in the mail yesterday. It's pretty rad, I didn't know, but Winona Ryder turned thirty-five.

Nothing much has been happening I hate the weather currently. Rain makes everything moist and really uncomformatable. I ordered some stuff from American Appearl and Angry Young & Poor, I got an e-mail yesterday for AYP saying my order has been shipped and I got one overthe weekend about the American Appearl stuff. I'm excited I can't weight to get my packages!

I'm a little angry over my post office. Laura hasn't gotten my letter yet. I wan to write her another one but I can't find her address of course. I wrote the first letter and sent it way before. I feel bad because she's been waiting. So I'm going to have to write her another letter, I'm going to have to send it some different way. Probably Air Mail since just putting postage on a envelop isn't working, which it normally does. So in a panic I've been sending out e-mail to people to make sure they've gotten their stuff. It appears they have. Thank God. I do know Lauren had gotten hers and I have gotten her reply too. Hannah has gotten hers and that's good. Domestically speaking I don't know who's gotten their letters (take that back Maria got hers).

I think I'm going to need to organize my address better.

Holy crap.

I'd watched Margaret Cho's, Assassin on DVD and I heard her comments when Björk was in that Bangkok airport and she like attacked a female reporter. I just say it on T.V. I'd never seen it before that. All I have to say is holy shit. She like wailed on that reporter! Ha, go Björk.

I caught the tail end of Access Hollywood, and Morgan Freeman is doing a new movie "The Feast of Love" or something along those lines as a title and oh my God, Toby Hemingway plays "Oscar". He like totally hot, WTF? I didn't want to post a picture from The Covenant, because honestly even though I never saw the movie it look'd pretty much gay. It was like a 2006 version of The Brotherhood II: Young Warlocks to me, but without the homoerotic sub-current (unless there was one, but I doubt it).

So like I might actually see a Morgan Freeman movie, in a theater, when it comes out, eh.

Fin.

P.s.
Whatever.

So apparently I'm older the Daniel Radcliff (Harry Potter), it was weird I was watching The Connan O'Brien Show last night and Conan made mention of it. I thought it was weird since I'm normally younger then famous people. Anyway I don't know. I saw him in a copy of "Detail" and when did Daniel Radcliff get chest hair?

Aside from that I really like Lil' Kim's song Lighters Up.

Debbie Harry's come out with a solo album in September, I'm thinking of pre-ordering, but who knows. I don't want to like waste money or anything. But I doubt if I would.

I think the faggy Renaissance Fair starts this weekend!
Saturday is also my birthday.

The bottom is just an outside statue with a web address scratched onto it. It was like www.makescupture.com or something. I never checked it out. There is going to be any 3th (Third Thursday) until September. Then it's a year round event. I guess this was the dry run? I'm excited though.

Slide, slide, slide.

So I managed to now melt today. I kept myself busy with things. I took two naps to escape the heat. Both times I had the weirdest dream. One had a disembodied voice and the other I got eggs. I know weird; it's always like that with me. I took a shower and that helped a lot.

Giant Freezies by Kisko are also helping. I noticed something while looking at the cover. The "mascot" is like a cross between an alligator and a hippo. Green reptilian body and sharp pointy teeth, however has a rounded snout and hippo ears. WTF?

Today with the heat index it felt like 110 or 101 or something like that. It was officially like ninety five or something out. Quite insane. Tomorrow should be better or at least more bearable because of how the temperature increases and decreased through out the day.

I've been looking though some of my mum's old crochet and craft books to familiarize myself with producing clothing. Since the abbreviations and rules for crocheting and knitting are of course different. I have a few ideas for think I want to start making soon as possible since I need stuff to keep me busy.

Also today I saw a yarn with shredded paper plied with it, quite amazing. I'd love to try it.

"It just screams, fuck you PETA."

America is like broiling today with like Arizona in the triple digits, bleh. I was planning on making a trip to the post office, but screw it if I bake in the sun. I wanted to accomplish something maybe I'll make someone buy me sugar-free popsicles (even though they don't taste good) and some of that new diet Pepsi (with the Ginkgo and extra caffeine). That sounds good.

So I've been on a Hip Hop binge lately. I found out that Timbaland worked with Björk on Volta. How interesting. I have been really looking at her dresses/costumes for Volta. They are pretty much amazing and do really want to base my autumn/winter wardrobe from it. The company that designs the stuff she's been wearing is from Iceland (duh), The Iceland Love Cooperation. The site is pretty; however, for me (dial-up) takes like four hours to load.

I think that's it for now, time for a nap.

So on my way to posting this entry I got distracted by this interview with Melora Creager from Rasputina about "Oh Perilous World".

Anyway, since I live a few miles away from the "Great" New York State Fair I looked up the free/paid concert lists and I was sort of surprised and I have to announce!

So get this I'm dead set on seeing Poison and Ratt at the Morgan Grandstand!
I want to see "Projekt Revolution" just because Mindless Self Indulgence and Placebo are playing. But the tickets are ridiculously priced.

For free concerts I'm seeing Johnny Thunder on the first of September!!!
All I can say is holy shit.
I'm also seeing Blue Oyster Cult the thirty-first with Foghat because I think it'll be hilarious for me.

I'm taking pictures each of theses days!
Paris & Larry King; I need a review too.

Okay so I found this and though it was funny it was posted by Heather Lynn, who's on Melodramatic. She did live blogging of Paris Hilton on the Larry King Live show. It was just hilarious. I started laughing from the beginning:

Paris respects Larry King. WTF?
"When I heard you asked me to be on the show, I was excited."

"I was writing a lot when I was there."
Yeah, writing Crime and fucking Punishment.

If you want to read the whole thing (I think the entry is public if not let me know at her blog. Pop culture is hilarious.

Okay so I'm putting a little zine together because it is summer and I have not job and I don't have any school and all I do is wake up and exercise and sit around. I haven't really thought up of a name, however, I started working on reviews of music. I'd like someone (if they want to) do up a review for Rasputina's Oh Perlious World since I don't have it yet and probably won't get it right away since I have no money. Who ever submits one will get a free copy of my zine when I pubish it (that is go to Kinko's).

Anyway, if anyone is interested let me know!!

=]

Being ripped off?

So I don't find it funny that Lomolito cameras from the Lomographic Society are like $40.00 for a pack of four (with four different color filters). So that's obviously ten dollars a camera. You can make it cheaper if you buy in the same color (filter that is). Well there is no option for that because you could buy up to (supposedly) twenty cameras for only $7.50 with tax.

Well you can buy them else everywhere between nine dollars and fifteen. I think I'd be getting ripped of.

Ugh, summer go away.

Okay, so I hate my scale. First I see I lost fifteen pounds then last night it only said I lost five and just now I lost ten. I think ten is the most accurate, which is good for me. It just makes me confused.

It was extremely hot today, so I slept a lot and found it extremely hard to wake up.

Oh Borders in Syracuse is now distributing Bitch magazine again! I wanted to tell Halley when I saw but she wasn't working. =[

I need to find something to occupy my time, I think I'll knit a scarf.

I'm lame.

Because I'm looking at PGSM icon communities at midnight instead of sleeping or I don't know anything else.

My birthday is in about four week! Give or take a week. I'm sure about a part or anything, I'd like one. Which means I'd have to orchastrate it myself, however, everyone I like doesn't live around here anymore or are like just not available like they use to be.

From how I've understood it in the past no one buys me presents because they don't know what the hell to get me. Which is odd because I think my style is pretty... ah, ya know apparent.

If someone wants to tack down the Marc Jacob's colored pencil set with elephant sharpener that's be nice.

Or like chip in and get me a PSP (white kind).

Or like donate money to me for my tattoo account.

Yeah, or just buy me a cupcake or something.

This and that again.

So nothing much of any interest has been going on. This and that pretty much I got some zines I ordered from Etsy. I love'em. Hopefully when I get a job and pay my credit card off (billing cycle should be ending soon) I'll be able to get more of their wears!

Saturday I did try and look for a job, at the mall of all places. I don't believe that I'm pretty enough. I abhor the idea of calling places after I think they've had enough time to review my application. I'll probably be doing it Wednesday or Thursday, bleh.

I've been feeling really creative as of lately. Among the things I want to do is make my own paper. I found a whole bunch of color tissue paper from my color development class last year and I want to put it to some good use, I also was going to use it for a mix media piece I was working on last summer (yeah ridiculous). I don't know yet.

I also want to start sewing I've been getting a lot of great idea for cloths (for me and others) that I would really like to make manifest. I wish I had a nice fabric store in town, however, I think I'm pretty much limited to JoAnn's. I want to make fabric envelops (which I adapted from a Japanese craft book). You basically use interfacing on fabric (it makes fabric hard). Then is sort of like origami, you fold and paste! Ta-da! You’re done. There is some minor hand sewing, but nothing to worry about.

I'd also like to screen print this summer and get some fusible letters. They're just appealing to me!

Oh you know and other lame drama. I'm pretty much (didn't accuse) but brought up how my friend only wants to "hang" with me to see other people like wouldn't you think this. If your friend made plans to go to the mall (with someone else) and then asked you for a ride and basically left with someone else wouldn't you think you were being used?! I basically just stopped talking to her (opps, no rides).

Eh, I have been pretty lame and re-watching old episodes of PGSM (Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon).

Edit: Holy spell-check Batman, did have have some really bad one!!

Call all cars!

Ugh, well I've had some fun recently. Thursday I went downtown to city wide art open and that was fun though everyone seems to have forgotten about it except for a few places.

I really hate up-ity museum security guards with their fake walkie-talkies thinking just because they failed out of high school and have a crummy security job like they're somebody, shut up!

However, I did get sushi at Sakana-Ya and it was delicious and reasonably priced. I also made a new friend who works there and at the tattoo place next door, her name is Mericia! She had this beautiful necklace: it was a piece of Tibetan jewelry (locket with coral and turquoise) on a serpent chain with a large blown glass charm at the bottom (recycled jewelry).

Its twenty dollars down to have the guys draw up a tattoo at Scarab. I'm going to bring in the design of the scared heart I wanted for so long and have them redraw it for me.

I still need my journal from Raychel! And my lighter, because she still have the beloved things of mine. I also don't really want to talk to her anymore, I don't know why.

Anyway, I need a scanner so I can scan in someone the photos I took when I saw Rasputina last time. I wish they were coming around here (east coast) again. However, they've toured here the past year and a half or so and it's the west coast this year! I've only printed out two of the shoots I got because the film wasn't dense at all so it takes a lot to get them to look perfect and I hate waiting! I most likely should have pre-ordered for their new album. I want the LP & CD.

Lastly I hope all my pen pals are getting their letter safely, because I think that the mail carriers who go to my house steal my fun mail because they have no lives! Seriously, I'm totally not kidding. I'm thinking of just having the post office hold my mail from now on. Because they wouldn't steal anything, because their fulfilled at the post office. I guess.

My birthday is soon and I want stuff!

This history of hip hop!

Was a show on VH1 yesterday. Debbie Harry had a blurb on it, because she was the first person who was in a band to bring the idea of rap into the mainstream. Meaning she was pretty much the first well known female rapper (sort of).

Anyhow, the Fab Five Freddy was a fan of CBGBs and that's where he met Blondie. He actually took them to what could be considered the hip hop version of CBGBs, which at the time was seemingly sketchy because it was segregated. So Fab Five brough a whole bunch of white people to a venue, which was heavly populated by Afrian American (Ha, Debbie a bleach blond, pale skinned, blue eyed girl).

The song "Rapture" is about him!

It was neat!
